Now you may be wondering why I've so vehemently declared this bag 'the best' for families, I will sum it up short and sweet. This durable bag is separated into four neat sections so you don't have to swim through the whole bag just to find the baby's socks. If you're a family of four, you can literally dedicate one section per person. We're a family of five, but I do combine items especially because kid's clothes are smaller and I can put all kids stuff into one section, adult into another (or two because adult clothes are larger) and extra items in the other two.

The TOBIQ duffel bag, 60L (large size) priced at around $229 full price, I know that's pretty wild for a duffel, but trust me these are VERY well made and unique- you will not find a cheap dupe of this. They do have a 15% off offer if you sign up for their email and SMS list. I have also found discount codes on google and used those myself. I'd add one here but they seem to change periodically, so I will send you on the goose chase yourself!
These bags are not available anywhere else aside from their own website.

I personally purchased this bag last year because a friend of mine recommended it, and I was very curious. I got both the 30L and the 60L sizes and tested them out. I found that for day to day use, the 30 is a more appropriate size but a little strange packing to be used as a backpack (I prefer one with water bottle pockets on the exterior) but does make a very easy to organize duffel. They do both have backpack straps as well as the standard duffel straps and a removable padded shoulder strap.

I used the 60L for a few trips to the lake this last summer and it was absolutely fantastic. It has four separated sections, each with an interior zip pocket and mesh pockets.I have three children, and then pack for myself and my husband. I used wet/dry bags like these here to pack our swimming clothes separated by person, and then those 5 bags lined up inside one section of the duffel. The fit was so perfect it was uncanny. In another section I put dry extra clothes, inside of mesh pockets I tucked socks, and in the zipper some smaller things like hairbands. I dedicated two sections for clothes, one was for the kids and one was for the adults. The final section was for toiletries, sunscreens etc. It was all organized and separated perfectly.
I will add I did bring another bag (A Baggu travel cloud if you want to know specifics) which held larger items like Costco sized baby wipes, Diaper pods like these filled with standard and swim diapers (by the way if you don't already know, swim diapers are just to catch solids. They do not absorb liquids.) and other extra things like a travel potty seat for my oldest kid. I think I also put extra sweaters in there just cause there was room.
I went to snag a picture of the travel cloud from the baggu website, and apparently they have discontinued that size. There used to be a super cute mini version as well. You can find these on a few boutique sites -lots of retailers carry baggu- and most likely on amazon. I have compiled a list of baggu items on Amazon here.
Here's the size of the travel cloud- it's essentially just a giant tote bag with a snap-off inside pocket you can pack the whole bag inside of when not in use. I like the sturdiness of their 'ripstop nylon' material.

Fast forward to now, January 2025, I have actually used all 3 of my TOBIQ duffels for "go bags" since the state of the world is a little sketchy these days, I have some things packed in the event my family has to leave quickly. I wouldn't call myself a 'prepper' by any means but I do have things packed that we would need if we had to leave quickly. I will not list specifics here but I will say that these bags fit a LOT of clothing and supplies. I recommend these for both travel or camping, AND for emergency preparedness as they are very easily organized so you can grab things quickly.
One thing I wish they had was a labeling system of some kind, I suppose one could use a temporary or iron on label of some kind, but if they had little plastic sleeves to insert a label card that would be handy. Labeling by child or types of items inside of the pockets.
I do agree that these are expensive for duffel bags, but I myself have purchased cheap quality ones before and they have not served me well. This company also claims to make donations to a Cancer Travel Fund with each purchase. You can read about that here, I think that's really neat. It's a personal story for their family.
They recently released this accessory bag, which I also love. I have found that if you put this inside of one of the divided pockets it takes up the entire space, but nonetheless is very handy for traveling as it's divided for all of your toiletries or similar items. I have the larger size but intend to purchase the smaller one as well, that should fit into more bags. I do wish more colors were available in the tiny size, maybe soon!

Toiletry bags available in two sizes.

Overall I find these bags to be fantastic, well thought out and of excellent quality. I do recommend buying them on sale or with a discount code if possible, because they are pretty steep compared to other 'cheaper' brands and stores. They also carry backpacks and wheeled duffels but I have not tested those ones out yet, I may pass on it because I don't ever have a use for something with wheels and I have a ton of backpacks already. But maybe!
